1787 New Jersey Copper, Camel Head, scarce Maris 58-n, R.5, struck over CT, F-VF.

119.5 grains. A nice quality example of this scarcer Camel Head variety. Slightly double struck and neat undertype too from a 1787 Connecticut, the full date of which is visible at 3 o’clock on the obverse. Enough detail from the host coin is visible to attribute the Connecticut as Miller 33.15-r.1.
